Jisu Ashram
Jisu Ashram Pandua was started by Fr. Mongal Das SJ in 1981. It has four units such as Jesuit community, Hostel for the boys, Catholic Church Pandua and St. Xavier’s School Pandua (Bengali medium). Its beginning was a great and fabulous and unforgettable one. It began with three students and one teacher and two group D staff. In 1982 Father’s residence and Hostel were started. In 1995 St. Xavier’s School Pandua was begun with a new Vigour. Earlier it was known as “Jisu Ashram Boarding school” and then now it is known as St. Xavier’s School Pandua. The motto of the school is Love and Care. We create the students to have concern for others.
